Arrival

Race HQ will open from 8:00am.

Please arrive before 8:50am at the latest so it allows us to get everyone in place to be able to set off at 9:30am.

Race Registration

Race numbers are NOT being sent out prior to the race. Please allow sufficient time to collect your race number from Race HQ on the morning of the race. You will also need to ensure you complete your name, emergency details and any allergies or relevant medical conditions on the reverse of your number.

On the Day Entries

On the Day Entries will be available subject to availability and will cost £30.

 

How to get to the Race Location

The race will start and finish at: Sonning Common Primary School, Grove Road, Sonning Common, RG4 9RJ. Please note there is NO parking at the school and you should avoid parking on the race course.

Sonning Common is approximately 5 miles from Reading and Henley. It is approximately 15-20 mins from Junction 11 of the M4.

Travelling by car: Race HQ is a short walk from the below car park which will be clearly signposted.

Car parking is available at the following locations, free of charge:

• Johnson Matthey, Widmore Lane, RG4 9NH

• Sonning Common Health Centre, Wood Lane, RG4 9SW

Please note all cars parked in the car park do so entirely at their own risk and the race organisers or land owners accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or valuables parked there.

Travelling by Train: Sonning Common is located close to both Reading and Henley-on-Thames train stations. If arriving at Henley-on-Thames it is a short taxi ride away (it is advisable to book a taxi in advance - Chiltern Cars are local) and if arriving at Reading station there is onward travel option by bus (please check bus times carefully as they are not very frequent on a Sunday morning).

Travelling by Bus: Sonning Common is served by the pink 25 bus. The race HQ is a short walk from either Kidmore End Turn or Sonning Common Post Office stops.

Travelling by Bike: There is bicycle storage available at the school but any bikes left are entirely at the owners risk.
